I am focusing on the deconstruction of the iconography within the image to change the meaning of the image.
The deconstruction is replaced with content aware created material. Though the image becomes "complete" again, the removal of the iconic part leaves the image void of its previous meaning.
These images are appropriated from the web, and then edited using Photoshop CS5's Content Aware Fills and Clone Stamps.
